What we collect, why, where it goes and your rights.
Who we are
This website is run by Render and Insulation, a trading name of S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd (company number 16932889, registered office Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG). The data controller for website enquiries, live chat and analytics is S&K Group Holdings Ltd (company number 16703925, Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG), which receives enquiries on behalf of its group companies. S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd is the controller for quotes, contracts and job records once you ask us to quote or carry out work.

Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry, arrange a survey and prepare a quote — steps you ask us to take before a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To carry out and administer work you've agreed to (contract) and keep records we must keep by law, such as for tax (legal obligation).
- To keep enquiries that didn't lead to work for a limited time, so we can answer follow-up questions and deal with any complaint (legitimate interests).
- To keep the site secure and working (legitimate interests).
- To run live chat and analytics, which set cookies, only where you've agreed (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time with Cookie settings.
We don't sell your details or use them for marketing unless you've separately agreed. Your enquiry may be shared with other S&K Group companies only where that's needed to quote for or carry out the work; the company you would contract with is named on your quote. Survey and installation teams working under our management receive only what they need to do the job.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and chats that don't lead to work: 24 months.
- Analytics data: 14 months.
- Quotes, contracts and job records: 7 years after the job ends.
Transfers
Some providers (for example Tawk.to and Web3Forms) may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict its use, ask for data you gave us to be passed to you or another organisation in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@renderandinsulation.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), though we'd like the chance to help first.
