Before we quote in Kendal
We cover Kendal and nearby Morecambe, Lancaster and Penrith. Kendal sits around 40 miles from Carlisle. The North West has one of the largest stocks of pre-1919 solid-wall terraces in England, alongside Pennine stone houses and post-war estates.
Parts of Cumbria fall in the higher wind-driven rain exposure bands, especially coastal and upland sites, so render specification, movement joints and detailing at cills, verges and the base of the wall matter more than usual.
We clean render in Kendal with low pressure only, so thin-coat and EWI finishes aren't damaged.

Planning and building control in England
Most repair and maintenance work needs no planning application. We'll tell you if the scope grows to the point where building control is involved.
How long does cleaned render stay clean?
It depends on shade, trees and exposure. Many walls stay clean for several years after a biocide treatment. North-facing, shaded and damp walls may need treating more often.
